I shot Jade and Brett's wedding early 2017 so was so thrilled to be asked into their home after little Maddon came along. We did a comfortable in home session and just hung out with Madden, with Coco trying to steal the show.
Having an in-home family photography session can keep baby more settled, fur babies can be involved and everyone is all round more relaxed.
On the side of the road on Old Toodyay Rd I meet up with the Arnold's family for their photoshoot. The boys kept me on my toes the entire session with many questions and exploring to be had. It was so beautiful to witness the love between them all. I'm so thankful I was asked to document this time in there lives.
Baby Archie's grandparents had flown over to meet him, we caught up on a very wild morning back in October. We had rain clouds all around us but the heavens shone down for just enough time to capture some precious memories. We headed out to a local private lake out of Goomalling that the couple love.
I met with this gorgeous little family on a soft summers afternoon down at Beach, Perth Western Australia. Choosing a location that the whole family loves being in is just a bonus, everyone is more relaxed, you feel safe and the kids can be themselves.
I approach my family photography sessions in a documentary manner, I set you up together and with the kids give little prompts and see what unfolds. I don't expect that the kids will behave like prefect angels, nor will they. But stay calm and just have fun with them and you'll get beautiful images that are you.
