  • ABOUT ME

What do we get?
All packages you get your print ready digital images via an online gallery for easy sharing and downloading and hosted online for 6 months. You can print, share make albums to your hearts content.
All images are individually edited by me to take on a film like less digital look, you will get one set of colour and one set in black and white.
You don't get the RAW files, I find the editing process just as important as the shooting and both combined are the end result I'll be proud to pass on to you

Is it just you?
Yes, but you can choose to book a second shooter (min of 4 hours), second shooters don't shoot on their own, they are more just a second perspective and don't take on the responsibility of the creative lead on the day.

Where do you shoot?
I photograph weddings anywhere in Australia I live in the Avon Valley, between Northam and York. Most weekends I travel to shoot, from Perth to Down South. Travel fee's apply outside of the Perth, Avon Valley catchment.

When do we get it?
You usually get a sneak peek within a day or two in a private gallery of around 15 images , then within 6-8 weeks you'll have all your images. (usually less for just image packages, a little longer if Albums are ordered)

How do we book?
Let me know the coverage you'd like and I can send you a little bit of paperwork. Once that is returned I send you an invoice for the first instalment. Once paid your date is all yours and no other appointments will be taken for that day. Just remember your date is only secure once I have your contract and deposit.

Can we meet?
Before booking with me I can offer Skype dates.. I live on a farm between Northam and York so it's a bit of a hike for potential bookings.

Engangement shoots?
I do offer a complimentary engagement shoot with some packages so that is a great way to meet before the day and see how I work and to get some practice infront of the lens. Shoots are on our beautiful farm Monday - Thursaday in the last 45min of light.

We are getting married interstate? (this is on hold due to covid:(

I can travel. Get in touch for a personalised quote. I'm happy to travel anywhere in Australia. The cost of ravel and two nights accomodation will be added to the package.

Do we need to feed and water you?
Yes please on a full day booking when I'm finishing after 8.30pm. It's a very long day for me, I do try and pack  snacks and water but hauling around 14kgs of gear all day is very hard work and sometimes it's not possible to carry a cooler around with me .  Also I'm vego so it's greatly appreciated if that can be catered for.

We are shy awkward in front of a camera?
Please don't stress, I want you to just be yourselves I will help you with gentle guidance. I prefer capturing real moments rather than too posed, usually I make my couples walk, hug, snuggle, kiss and interact with each other, I want you to get a little carried away and caught up in the day. And if you're awkward that works too because it's you. Pop some champagne and have fucking fun!

How long do we need for our bridal shoot? And when is the best time?
An hour of shooting time is plenty for one or two close by locations, although please factor in travel time to get to locations and a bit extra time if you have a large bridal party or a few stops. If your session doesn't fall in that last bit of light of the day I highly advise factoring in 15min at sunset to step away from your reception to capture that light!! The best light is that hour and a half before sunset, it's also my favourite. And you'll get those lovely golden images.
If you are drawn to my darker work think wisely about your ceremony location and time of day, if it's in a building or church that won't matter as much but if you are having a garden/outside wedding it's best when light and shadows are softer so look at early morning or 2/3 hours before sunset depending how much time you want for bridal portraits and family formals.

How long for family formals?
Usually 20min and try to keep that list to no more than 15-20 groups. Have someone that can round up each group ready and waiting and we will get through it with ease. Family formals take place after the ceremony at that location. Also tell those that are needed before the day so they don't head off and are missed.

How many weddings do you do?
I try and only book 2  a month so I don't burn out, I can balance my home life and be there for some of my kids sport. This also means I can edit and deliver my images in a timely manner. Also engagement shoots, the odd family shoot and brandig, and with editing my own images, running the business side of things keeps me full time.

Do we need to give you a shoot list?
If there are one or two things of REAL importance that you can't have missed please let me know. But I shoot documenting the day how it naturally unfolds. A shot list takes the spontaneity out of it, and won’t allow me to be as creative as I find it more stressful if I have to keep referring to a list.
All I need is a detailed timeline  for the days events and all the important addresses and phone numbers, and a list of which family portraits you’d like taken. You can leave the rest up to me – don’t worry.
I'll send you a questionnaire about a month out from the wedding that will have most details I need to know about.
Special items you want photographed just have ready for me on the day and let me know.
